When i see this photo, it really express how they felt. It was really sad to see all the relatives, especially his wife and his children. It is really showed us that Kuboyama San is really loved by others, and from the film, I can see the character of Kuboyama San is really kind with everyone and he gives spirit to other fishermen, even though he knew that his condition is getting worse and worse.
Kuboyama was a father and a husband who went for sailing but came home back with radioactive illness that has haunt him for the rest of his life. The pain that he has to suffer because of the arrogance of a country to prove it's power to the world.
